Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol clasps 1854-1856
Presenting the latest generation of high resolution replicas.
Using an original specimen and then scanning at ultra high resolution the data is then output to a 3D printer.
The result is a copy (clone) of the very highest and exacting qualities of the original (warts n’ all). This Replica is fully articulated (rotating) being assembled of individual stering silver clasps which are riveted together.
This technique is now being adopted by museums around the world in the interest of preservation, security and tactile education.
Incuded in the sale is approx 6 inches of loose ribbon and clear plastic dust wallet.
Clasp and suspender in .925 silver.
Medal silver plated bronze.
