Using an original specimen and then scanning at ultra high resolution the data is then output to a 3D printer, similar equipment is used in the production of prosthetic limbs and joints.
The result is a copy (clone) of the very highest and exacting qualities of the original (warts n’ all).
This Replica is fully articulated (rotating) being assembled of individual
parts.

Clasp and suspender; .925 silver.
Medal; silver plated.

This technique is now being adopted by museums around the world in the interest of preservation, security and tactile education.
